Mitchell OnDemand Integration

Protractor integrates directly with Mitchell OnDemand from the Work Order. This allows you to not only launch OnDemand directly from the work order but bring back information regarding recalls, TSB, Repair, Maintenance Schedules, OEM Parts, and Labor Guide times. The vehicle information is also transferred directly to the OnDemand system so you do not have to re-enter the vehicle information.

Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and Recalls

When you access TSB or Recall articles in the OnDemand system you can transfer a link to the article back to the work order. This greatly enhances the communication between the service advisors and the technicians. If the advisor links a problem or service to a TSB or recall it can not only provide the information to the technician but save them from having to look it up themselves. This greatly improves productivity in the shop. The technician can also tag this same information to a ticket to inform the advisor.

Repair Information

In a similar way to TSB and Recall articles, Repair information links can be tagged to a problem or service on the work order. This saves the technician from having to look up the information on how to repair a system or view a wiring diagram and this can significantly enhance the technician's efficiency on the job.

Maintenance Schedules and Service Intervals

Access to maintenance information and service intervals can provide sales opportunities while building trust with your customer in taking care of their vehicles according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Estimating with OEM Parts and Mitchell Labor

Protractor allows you to launch Mitchell's estimating tool directly from the work order and bring parts from the OEM catalog and labor times back to the work order. This greatly simplifies and increases the speed at which estimates are completed. This greatly reduces the time required by an advisor to create the estimate and deliver it to the customer. That means, more time technician time is spent working on vehicles with much less down time.
