Wherever possible, Protractor uses its own cataloging and online ordering system interface and communicates with the supplier's system in the background. This allows you to learn one interface and use it will the majority of your suppliers. WORLDPAC is one such supplier.

Catalog Choices

WORLDPAC provides Protractor with the ability to integrate using their speedDial interface or Activant's ePartExpert catalog. There are few difference that make using the ePartExpert catalog advantageous.

• Because Protractor's vehicle entry uses the Activant's make, model, and engine listing, there is no need to the ePartExpert catalog what vehicle you are working on.
• If you have other supplier's that use Activant's catalog it provides more consistency between suppliers.
• If WORLDPAC is your main supplier, then you get the extra features the Activant Catalog provides in your default catalog.
