Our primary aim is to provide the necessary tools to automotive service providers so that they may realize their potential. We want to provide the keys to your success and we offer a complete set of management tools that enables us to do so.

Forefront Business Solutions is owned and operated by Guy Lapierre and is a distributor for Protractor Software Inc. Guy has 15 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket in both parts distribution and automotive repair. As a field engineer for Triad Systems, Guy learned hardware and software systems in the jobber network. He was introduced to independent repair shops in the early days of online parts ordering systems provided by the jobbers. To understand the needs of repair shop owners and managers he took an interest in their day to day operations and has been dedicated to their cause every since.

Guy became an account manager for the Pace Business Manager®, a premier shop management system. He also studied the Garage Management System™, a premier shop management and training program that has a proven track record in making shops successful.

In 2001, what is now Activant™ withdrew from the development and sales of shop management software and the Pace Business Manager was no longer sold. The original principles of Pace™ and Humphries Auto Systems™ had been developing Protractor Software since 1997 and decided that it was ready for market and Guy became a distributor and Forefront Business Solutions was born. The company has since expanded its product offering to include shop management coaching and marketing services.
